Periche village
"Mt. Everest" national park, Nepal
This is Periche, the last inhabited village below Mt. Everest, on the Nepal side. It's early morning in late spring. Mt. Everest is behind my back; the peak in the center of the picture just visible behind the mist is Ama Dablam.
