Jaisalmer, Rajastan

The Golden Fort at Jaisalmer, at the end of the rail line in Rajastan, near the Pakistan border. The former busy oasis town, now sees only the occasional caravan. I'm not sure of what the man is doing with the rifle; he might have been showing off. The town is built of yellow sandstone, easily carved into magnificant detail.
